What Is a Digital Greeting Card?
A digital greeting card is a personalised card you create online and share through a link. It can arrive immediately and open in a supported browser without postage or an app. Its value comes from the message you write for one person. A carefully written digital card can feel meaningful because it reaches the recipient quickly and contains words chosen specifically for them.

Step 1: Choose Your Occasion
Start by identifying the occasion. Hadiytak supports birthdays, Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, graduations, love, friendship, Mother's Day, Father's Day, thank you, apology, congratulations, and custom occasions. Visit an occasion page for wording examples, then choose the occasion in the card creator.
Step 2: Personalize the Card
Enter the recipient's name, greeting, message and sign-off. You can copy a wording example from an occasion page and personalize it, but the current card creator does not offer a gallery of selectable design templates. Add one optional photo or a YouTube or SoundCloud track, then choose the seal and photo shape shown in the editor.
Step 3: Write Your Message
This is the most important step — and the one most people rush. Write something genuine. Use the person's name. Mention something specific: a memory you share, something you appreciate about them, something you want them to know. Even two or three specific sentences are better than a paragraph of generic phrases. If you're stuck, start with: "One thing I want you to know is..." and go from there. The card creator has a message field — fill it with something real.
Step 4: Share the Link
Once your card is created, you'll get a shareable link. Copy it and send it via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or another messaging app. Hadiytak does not schedule delivery, so send the link yourself at the time you choose. The recipient opens it in a browser without creating an account. Anyone who obtains or is forwarded the link can view it while it remains available.
Tips for a Better Card
- Use the recipient's name at least once in your message
- Mention something specific — a memory, a shared reference, something real
- Don't copy-paste a generic message — write it fresh
- Time your send carefully — first thing in the morning on the occasion lands best
- If the occasion allows, pair the card link with a voice note or short video message

Can the recipient save or download the card?
The recipient can view the card in their browser as many times as they like via the link. They can bookmark the link or take a screenshot to save it. The card remains accessible as long as the link is active.
Can I create a card in English and Arabic?
Yes. Hadiytak supports English and Arabic interfaces, occasion pages, prompts and wording examples. You can write your message in whichever language you prefer.
A complete Hadiytak workflow, from draft to share link
Draft the message in your phone’s notes before opening the design tool. Write the reason for the occasion, one true detail, what that detail meant to you, and a forward-looking wish. Then open the card maker and choose the closest occasion. The preset establishes the greeting; the message itself should remain yours.
Enter the recipient’s name exactly as you want them to see it. Add one photo only when it supports the story, and choose a frame that fits its original shape. If you add a YouTube or SoundCloud link, confirm that it works, but do not make the card’s meaning depend on autoplay because some browsers require the recipient to press play.
Review the finished link before sending
- Open the finished link on your own phone; do not rely only on the creator preview.
- Check the name, greeting, sign-off, and photo crop from the top of the page to the bottom.
- Make sure the first line identifies the occasion without exposing a private surprise in a messaging-app preview.
- Keep your own copy of the wording and image; a share link is not a guaranteed permanent archive.
What should stay out of the card?
Do not include passwords, identity numbers, financial information, confidential documents, or highly private images. A gift link is designed to be unlisted, but it is not protected by an account and may be forwarded. Use it for feelings and memories that would not cause harm if another person saw them, and read the Privacy policy before uploading a photo.
