Information we handle
This includes the names, messages, photos, audio, video and design choices you add to a gift, plus account and order details when used. A draft may remain in your browser, while content and media reach our service when you save, upload or export. Basic operational data helps protect the service and diagnose errors.
How we use it
We use it to create and display gifts, deliver links and messages, schedule release, provide selected tracking, process orders, support users and protect the service. Depending on the gift, recipients may send a reaction or short reply to the sender. Anyone holding a gift link can forward it.
Gift content and recipients
A secure link grants access; it is not end-to-end encryption. Anyone holding it can open or forward the gift. Eligible paid tracking shows meaningful opening, completion, reaction and a short reply when available. Owner preview does not count as a recipient opening.
Accounts and purchases
Eligible gifts can be created as a guest. An optional account keeps purchases, credits and gift management together across devices. Recipients open the gift link without signing in.
Media and access duration
Access duration depends on the product and entitlement. Temporary Basic gifts normally last 7 days; scheduled gifts are protected until release, when their retention clock starts. Free PDF letter media is hosted for 25 days with a 7-day recovery window; a paid archive lasts one year. A downloaded PDF does not expire, but its audio or video link can. Keep your own important files.
Service messages
We send service messages such as gift links, delivery times and purchase confirmations. Open, completion, reaction and reply notifications depend on the gift features and sender preferences. Account settings manage optional notifications; essential transaction messages may remain.
Service providers
Hosting, authentication and storage providers (Firebase), a payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) and an operational email provider (Resend) help us deliver the service. The payment provider handles card details; they are not stored with gift data. External music or media may connect your browser to YouTube or SoundCloud. Google analytics or advertising services may operate where shown. Providers may process data in other countries under their own policies.
Analytics and advertising
Usage measurement may help us understand performance and protect the site. Where external ads or media appear, those services may receive connection data and use their tools under consent settings and their policies. We cannot promise that an external provider collects no data.
Retention and deletion
Content retention differs from order-record retention. Links and media expire according to the product; purchase or security records may remain for settlement and fraud prevention. Deletion requests are reviewed against ownership and applicable obligations. Deletion does not remove a recipient’s downloaded PDF or copy.
Your choices and requests
Use guest creation where available, edit your draft, manage account preferences or avoid external media. Contact us with the gift or order reference to request access, correction or deletion. We verify the requester’s authority before disclosing or deleting data.

New eligible free gifts last 7 days. Existing gifts keep their original expiry dates. Paid gifts, books and scheduled gifts keep their separate terms. Check the expiry date of your gift.
